Visit Exmoor should be dissolved - board

A troubled tourism body could be wound up by the end of the year after relations broke down within the partnership.

Visit Exmoor was set up less than three years ago to spearhead tourism across Exmoor and enable local businesses to take a lead in shaping the industry, which is vital to the area.

However, following a series of internal wranglings, Visit Exmoor's board of directors have recommended that the limited-by- guarantee organisation be wound up. The proposal will be made at the AGM in December.
