He lived for the children and his wife, says mother

Chef Iain Varma, who is thought to have killed himself and two of
his children by starting a fire at their home, was "devastated" to
find his wife was having an affair, his mother said yesterday.
Mr Varma, 34, and his four-year-old daughter Chloe, died at the
scene of the blaze in North Tawton, near Okehampton, on Monday, and
his eight-year-old son Zak died later in hospital.
His wife Alison Varma, who is in her thirties and worked at the
