Devils are left in the lurch

Plymouth Devils chairman Mike Bowden has hit out at Conference
League rivals Scunthorpe Scorpions after they declined to fulfil
tonight's Conference League Knockout Cup final first leg encounter.
The Devils were due to host Scunthorpe at the St Boniface Arena
after the Scorpions beat Rye House in last weekend's semi-final.
Although Rye House had agreed in advance to visit Plymouth if they
had emerged victorious in the semi, Scunthorpe claimed they needed
longer notice to make their riders available.
