Buyers flock to sporting sales

The West Country Sporting Sales which have been held by Greenslade
Taylor Hunt in Taunton twice a year since 1998 are now firmly
established as the leading sales of sporting art and memorabilia in
the country.
Each sale has attracted over 1,000 lots of sporting paintings,
prints and books, big game trophies and hunting, shooting and fishing
items, appealing to buyers and collectors nationwide and further
afield via the Internet.
With a hunting ban now on the statute book and pressure on
shooting and fishing, it is extraordinary that interest in
traditional field sports has never been stronger.
