One win is enough so Aberdeen university are out to stop RGU double on Dee

Connie Robinson believes Robert Gordon University's maiden win in last year's Aberdeen Universities Boat Race was good for the event, but hopes they fail to follow up that success with a second victory this weekend.

The Aberdeen University Boat Club president was part of the crew which lost to their rivals in the contest 12 months ago.

But after her institution won on each of the 10 occasions it had been held previously, she feels RGU's unexpected triumph last March has added some much-needed spice to this year's version.

The two sides take on each other once more this Sunday on the River ...
