End in sight to row over leisure centre speed humps

Roads bosses may have come up with a solution to end a row over
unauthorised speed humps at a north-east town's leisure centre.
A series of traffic-calming measures were installed outside the
Fraserburgh complex by staff who wanted to curb speeding motorists
using the car park, but because the humps were installed without
permission, officials at Aberdeenshire Council recommended
enforcement action to be taken against leisure centre management to
get them removed.
Local councillors said that the leisure centre staff should talk
with roads chiefs to try and reach a compromise, and now a plan ...
