Organic food fans get their fill

The best organic produce from around the Highlands was on display at Cawdor Castle on Saturday.

Visitors to the castle's annual open day had the extra bonus of sampling cheese, venison and beer at the estate's first ever organic food festival.

Supported by the Soil Association and the Slow Food movement, Living Food at Cawdor Castle aimed to showcase and promote sustainable food. Among the stalls in the two marquees were cheesemakers, poultry farmers and vegetable growers.
