North transport agency Hitrans is to invest pounds750,000 in a new
rail halt at Inverness Airport in the next financial year, confident
of securing the necessary planning approval and ScotRail timetable.
It also aims to reopen Conon Bridge station in Ross-shire, adding
the town to the "Inver-net" rail commuter service.
