Specialist brain injury centre to open

E Yorks: A specialist unit to treat patients with brain injuries is set to open in Goole.

The Brain Injury Rehabilitation Trust (BIRT) and Northern Lincolnshire and Goole Hospitals NHS Trust have teamed up to open the unit.

It was formerly used by the Leonard Cheshire charity until it closed in 2005 and will be reopened in August.
