Traces of 'hypnotic' drug found in men

Cousins accused of murdering a Hornsea man after a drinking session had traces of a "hypnotic" drug in their bloodstream, a court heard.

Lee Richmond, 20, of Newbegin, Hornsea, and Ryan Ashton, 18, of Westbourne Road, Hornsea, deny murdering Nathan Crawley, 29, on July 28 last year.

A 15-year-old girl, who cannot be named for legal reasons, also denies the charge.

Mr Crawley, of Salisbury Street, Hornsea, was unconscious in the town's Hall Garth Park.

Hull Crown Court heard he had been drinking with the three defendants when a fight broke out between them.
