Recently Formed Pike Place Capital Launches Long/Short Fund

NEW YORK (HedgeWorld.com) - Newly formed Pike Place Capital
launched its first hedge fund, an equity long/short fund that will
use fundamental analysis to generate absolute returns.
The strategy began trading in May, seeded with US$10 million in
proprietary capital from the firm's principals and former partners of
another hedge fund group, Cumberland Associates.
The U.S.-based vehicle's minimum investment is US$1 million and
