MANY travel agents have been hard hit in their pockets in terms of commission since e-travel providers began offering their products and services direct to customers via online means.

What travel agents need to realise is that they need not feel challenged by the business-to-consumer model adopted by e-travel providers, but rather it is something they themselves should be looking into.
