Marine Technology Society Committee on Senate Commerce, Science, and Transportation
September 21, 2004 Mr. Chairman, distinguished Senators, ladies and gentlemen,
I thank you for the opportunity to address this Committee. My name is Daniel
Schwartz and I serve as the Manager of Marine Operations for the University
of Washington`s School of Oceanography. I appear before you today as the
