Qld: Townsville: capital of the north

TOWNSVILLE, Sept 17 AAP - If North Queensland could cut itself from the rest of the
Sunshine State, then Townsville would surely be its capital.
The perpetually sunny city will this weekend host a historic National Rugby League
(NRL) semi-final between the North Queensland Cowboys and southern "big brother" the Brisbane
Broncos.
Townsville has just the right mix of pride, loyalty, friendliness and military might
