Fed: Forget the size of the pay packet, workers want training

SYDNEY, Aug 23 AAP - Forget the size of your pay packet - it's the amount of on-the-job
training that matters most to one in three Australian workers, according to new research.

An online survey of 1,280 Australian workers has found that 41 per cent of employees
receive no training and development at work.

The research, by recruitment company Hays, also found that just 25 per cent of workers
said they were offered excellent training and development opportunities.
