Tequila production reaches 102mn liters through July 2004
MEXICO CITY, Aug 12, 2004 (Notimex/Corporate Mexico by Internet Securities, Inc. via COMTEX) -- During the first seven months of 2004, tequila production reached 102 million liters compared to the same period of 2003, thus showing an increase of 40.68%.<P>The statistics were reported by the Tequila Regulation Council CRT, which also said that a total of 78.1 million liters were the tequila variety, while 23.9 million were the 100% agave variety.<P>Of total production, 63.6 million liters were ...
