Anjani Ambegaokar decided dance was too iffy a career option, and opted to
take an MBA from the Keller Business School.
Last week, the Kathak dancer was one among 10 recipients of the prestigious
National Heritage Fellowship of the National Endowment for the Arts, which
carries with it a one-time cash award of $20,000.
The 59-year-old resident of Diamond Bar, California, will be invited, along
with other recipients, to Washington, DC, in September for a series of
events, including an awards presentation ceremony on Capitol Hill and a
concert at Lisner ...
