While watching television ads and political conventions, one often gets the
impression that God is a member of a certain political party. The rhetoric
is sometimes quite convincing. Nevertheless, one has to ponder the
question; is God a Democrat or a Republican. In other words, whose side is
God on? It is good political sense to invoke the name of God at election
time. After the election, its business as usual.

Although one may like a political party's stance on some issues, there are
