Friday, June 11, 2004 -- One of the first Israelis to visit Istanbul's Topkapi Palace Museum over half a century ago, I was dazzled by its treasures; and later charmed by the marvelous movie Topkapi starring Melina Mercouri and Peter Ustinov. Countless Israelis have since visited the Topkapi; but those who haven't can now see a selection of its exotic treasures at Turkish Delights, a small but rich loan show at the Israel Museum.
