WASHINGTON-U.S. Secretary of Labor Elaine L. Chao today announced a
National Emergency Grant of $200,000 to aid workers in New Hampshire. The
grant will provide assistance to approximately 50 former employees of Flextronics
International in Portsmouth.
"This Administration is committed to helping workers who are
transitioning," said Secretary of Labor Elaine L. Chao. "The $200,000 in
funding will provide re-employment assistance, training and skills upgrades
to these workers as they prepare for new careers."
