Vic: Cheering and teary crowd greet flame at Albert Park Lake

A cheering crowd has greeted the Olympic torch as it arrived at Melbourne's Albert
Park Lake today.

Usually the home of the Australian Grand Prix, the park has been transformed into a
carnival as hundreds of expatriate and Australian-born Greeks were joined by other Melburnians
to welcome the flame.
