The Church of the Epiphany in the downtown section of the nation's capital
is a center of cultural attractions, as it provides an excellent variety of
musical programs weekly as part of Tuesday Concert Series. Such an event
was the performance of the accomplished percussionist Mr. Leon
Khoja-Eynatyan.

The program, as it appeared in the brochure, looked simple and modest
enough. But what a daunting task it was to interpret Alan Hovhaness,
William Cahn, and Tilo Medek.

Joining the master percussionist was a string quartet including Nayiri
