`Killing of Hamas spiritual leader a mistake'

KUALA LUMPUR, Fri. - It is a mistake for Israel to think that the country would be safer with the killing of Hamas spiritual leader Sheikh Ahmad Yassin last Monday.

The International Movement for a Just World (JUST) president Dr Chandra Muzaffar said the assassination had only aggravated tensions and unleased anger and emotions across the Arab and Muslim world.
He said it would be a matter of time before Palestinians retaliate and the cycle of violence would escalate.
