The Ararat Lodge of the Knights of Vartan (K of V), based here, announces
its sponsorship of three school renovation projects in Yerevan under the
knights of Vartan Adopt-a-School Program. All of these projects were
completed in 2003. They are:

SCHOOL #37 - KANAKER, YEREVAN

One of these projects is the major renovation of school #37 in Kanaker,
located on the outskirts of Yerevan in a relatively poor, working-class
area. Factories in this region have been shut down for several years
