India, China hold secret talks over border dispute

National Security Adviser Brajesh Mishra, the Indian prime minister's
special representative on the India-China border dispute, was in Beijing
for the second round of talks with his counterpart, Executive Vice-Foreign
Minister Dai Bingguo, January 12 and 13.

Mishra was accompanied by Ambassador to China Nalin Surie and joint
secretary (East Asia) in the ministry of external affairs, Ashok Kant,
besides senior officials from the Prime Minister's Office. The Government
officials refused to divulge the names of the other delegation members.
