Tuesday, March 2, 2004 -- The Jewish National Fund will invest in developing and populating the Negev, JNF chairman Yehiel Leket said Sunday night.

He was addressing more than 350 delegates from 34 countries attending the JNF World Leadership Conference in Jerusalem. On Monday, the delegates set off by train for a two-day tour of JNF projects in the Negev.
