Fed: Downer rules out meeting Yasser Arafat

CANBERRA, Jan 27 AAP - Foreign Minister Alexander Downer today ruled out any meeting
with Yasser Arafat until the Palestinian leader took action against terrorism.

Mr Downer said leaders of the Palestinian authority would not meet him while he was
in the Middle East unless he first met Mr Arafat.
