IN Kuala Lumpur there is a Jalan Esfahan while in Esfahan there is Kuala Lumpur Street as the two cities have been "twinned".

The name change from Jalan Selat to Jalan Esfahan took place on March 30, 1998. The road is near Sogo shopping complex and connects Jalan Tuanku Abdul Rahman with Jalan Raja Laut.
