Vic: New designers selling themselves at Fashion Week

MELBOURNE, Nov 12 AAP - Designer clothes aren't the only things being sold at Australian
Fashion Week. Up and coming designers say it's also a matter of selling themselves.

The event has provided a rare opportunity for new designers to meet the fashion media,
buyers and industry heavyweights.

Young designer Adam Gower said a $5,000 award he received from festival sponsors also
acted as a valuable boost for emerging talent.
