Canada finish off with win but Charron injured in final Test

WOLLONGONG, Australia, Oct 29 (AFP) - Canada left Tonga with the wooden
spoon in Pool D with a rugged 24-7 Rugby World Cup win at Wollongong Stadium
here on Wednesday.
But Canada's veteran skipper Al Charron, playing in his farewell Test after
four World Cups, was not there at the finish to savour the victory as he was
smashed in a solid tackle 10 minutes from the end and was taken from the field
on a stretcher.
