Tough job to protect sunken wrecks

MALAYSIA should have tighter enforcement to prevent treasure hunters from looting sunken wrecks within her territorial waters, says heritage conservationist Loh-Lim Lin Lee.

She said most of the time the authorities may not even be aware of illegal operations being undertaken to plunder sunken wrecks of priceless historical artefacts.
