California First Lady Sharon Davis announced the Governor's appointment of
Quincy Troupe as California's first official Poet Laureate.
"Beyond his many awards and accomplishments, Quincy is simply a gifted poet
with the rare ability to make words come alive," Mrs. Davis said. "As you
will see, he has a love and passion for poetry that is inspirational."
