Wilson Riles Jr., has said over and over that he can beat Mayor Jerry Brown
in the upcoming Mayoral election, and he scoffs at those who believe
Brown's invincible, despite Brown winning more than 59 percent of the vote
against a crowded field.

Riles, 55 is the son of Wilson Riles Senior, the first black man to be
elected to a statewide position as State Superintendent of Public Schools.

Quickly, Riles said he did not want to start out this interview opposing
Jerry Brown. But before the interview was over, Riles had bluntly answered
