A work by New York City-born composer Coleridge-Taylor Perkinson is
included on an intriguing new collection of symphonic music written by
contemporary African American composers.

The World premieres of works by Perkinson and three other living African
American composers are heard on Cedille Records' "African Heritage
Symphonic Series, Vol.III (Cedille Records CDR 90000 066), the final
installment in the first major survey of concert music by African American
