Marion Jones awarded Jesse Owens Trophy Award
Track and field star Marion Jones, who won more medals than any female
track athlete at a single Olympic Games, was honored with the Jesse Owens
International Trophy Award last Thursday.
The setting was the Jesse Owens Awards Dinner held at the Waldorf-Astoria
Hotel. Herb Douglas, president emeritus of the International Amateur
Athletic Association, presented Jones with the trophy.
