Soaring with a Songbird: Edith Piaf -- the singing French `Sparrow' of
legend -- has inspired the career path of chanteuse Raquel Bitton

It was a little bird whispering in her ear that helped determine the
direction Raquel Bitton and her bio would take.

Of course, that little bird was a sparrow, and the little sparrow also
happened to be the nom de plume of Edith Piaf, the world-famous French
chanteuse whose voice seems to be channeling through the transfixing
Bitton. The singer's voice eerily evokes the ethereal pleasures that were
Piaf.
