MCALESTER, Okla. - Oklahoma as an oasis for tourists? If the Five Civilized
Tribes has anything to say about it, Oklahoma may soon be the mecca for
Midwest tourism. Representatives of the Five Civilized Tribes, the state of
Oklahoma and private corporations came together here recently to begin
working toward a common goal of making the entire nation sit up and take
notice of all Oklahoma has to offer.
