Most of India's business leaders refuse to condemn or comment on the
Gujarat carnage. The few who did so earlier, now fear they might have said
too much
It seemed like a routine business meet to discuss the challenges and
opportunities in Indo-American trade till Shekhar Dasgupta, country
manager, Oracle India, decided to question the Indian government's handling
of the Gujarat riots.
Dasgupta told the senior bureaucrats present at the meet that his corporate
headquarters in California was concerned over the Gujarat situation and the
ongoing violence in Gujarat ...
