Kite fights with the Lahore Lions: Club members fly deadly kites fitted out
with special string coated with powdered glass
"Somebody's in trouble," said kite-master Fayyaz Mahmood, who did not look
troubled at all. "I wonder who?" More than a mile up in the sky two tiny
colored squares tugged against the wind. One was Mahmood's kite, the other
belonged to an opponent who wanted to bring him down.
"Come here little boy, daddy wants to teach you a lesson," said Mahmood.
With a deft one-handed move, he cut his opponent's kite string. The
