Yoshikatsu Kawaguchi focusing on Danish club instead of spot on Japan's national team

Japanese goalie Yoshikatsu Kawaguchi said Thursday he'll focus on
his career with his new club, Denmark's FC Nordsjaelland, instead
of winning back his spot on Japan's national team.
Kawaguchi signed a two-year contract with FC Nordsjaelland Sunday.
The team plays in Denmark's top SAS League, and became the first Japanese
player to play on a Scandinavian soccer team, managing director Michael
Axelsen said.
During his 18-month stint with English club Portsmouth, Kawaguchi
only defended the goal a dozen times on Portsmouth's first team. His
