Sociology textbooks play a central role in educational process of teaching
Sociology. This is very obvious in an introduction course. Introduction
courses tend to be very large. In major universities, sociology courses
attract as many as 500 to 1000 students. The enrollees tend to be drawn
from various disciplines ranging from hard core sciences to social
