No need for any recounts: Solomon Schechter School mock election a
landslide.

In this historical and bizarre year of real-life presidential elections,
Solomon Schechter Day School sought to teach its students the importance of
voting and the democratic process through a mock campaign and election.
Within the walls of the school there was no need for recounts or
injunctions. It was a landslide: Gore, 217; Bush, 26.

The Schechter eighth-grade class followed the campaign and researched the
candidates' positions, culminating in a mock debate on Nov. 6. Each
