A senior investigator at the Canadian Security Intelligence Service
reportedly admitted one year after the June 23, 1985, Air-India tragedy
that CSIS agents might have prevented the deaths of 331 people if they had
recognized the sound of a home-made bomb that was tested in the woods near
Vancouver a few weeks before the disaster.
