Guangzhou to Build E-government Platform

GUANGZHOU, Aug 13, 2003 (SinoCast via COMTEX) -- The Municipal Government of Guangzhou plans to invest RMB 2 billion in building e-government platform in tow years ahead.

Xie Xuening, director of Guangzhou Information Center, said during the Third China (Guangzhou) International Information Industry Week that Hong Kong-based IT companies should not miss the greatest opportunity and join the construction of Guangzhou's e-government by making cooperation with counterparts in Guangzhou, Guangdong Province.
