Dateline: LONDON Debt, duels, death. And that was just off the stage.

Original documents revealing the often turbulent lives of William Shakespeare's colorful contemporaries went on display Thursday at the bard's reconstructed Globe Theatre in London.

The collection, which is being shown for the first time, provides a rare opportunity to see manuscripts, documents and artifacts that tell the story of daily life in the theater 400 years ago.
