Malaysia Smelting buys 25pc of ZR Network, BUSINESS TIMES

MALAYSIA Smelting Corp Bhd, one of the world's largest producers of tin metal, has bought a 25 per cent stake in miner ZR Network Sdn Bhd, its first interest in a tin mining company locally. The purchase, signed yesterday, will give Malaysia Smelting access to some 1,000 tons of tin-in-concentrates to be produced soon by ZR Network, which is taking over Rahman Hydraulic Tin Bhd's tin mine and related assets in Perak.
