Italy's exiled royals returned to the country for another visit Thursday
_ and were met with fresh criticism by Jews of the monarchy's promulgation
of racial laws during Fascism.
The president of the Union of Italian Jewish Communities, Amos Luzzatto,
complained in a newspaper interview that Victor Emmanuel and his
family hadn't attempted to make formal contact with Italy's Jewish
community since ending a half-century of exile last year.
