Leaders of Dhaka City Awami League and Juba League said yesterday that
the BNP-led alliance government had miserably failed to supply power and
water to the city-dwellers in these days of scorching heat.
Speaking at a number of rallies at different points of the city, they
said that the alliance government had also failed to add a single unit
of electricity to the national grid though the government enhanced electricity
bill thrice during its 18 months in power.
