Tibet upgrades road infrastructure, XINHUA

LHASA, March 24 (Xinhua) -- Southwest China's Tibet Autonomous Region has
announced plans to invest 3.5 billion yuan (422 million US dollars) to
upgrade its transportation infrastructure.
According to the plan, 889.92 kilometers of roads will be extended to
14 towns and 72 villages to make them get traffic access to outside. In
