Qld: Boy dies from box jelly fish sting

BRISBANE, March 23 AAP - A seven-year-old boy died today after
being stung by a large
box jelly fish in north Queensland, authorities said.
He was stung on the chest and neck at unpatrolled Wongaling Beach,
south of Cairns,
about 1.15pm (AEST), police said.
The boy's grandfather tried to save him and was stung on the hand
during the rescue
attempt, a Queensland Ambulance spokeswoman said.
She said he was not seriously injured.
